| AU Chamber Singers: The Art of Tradition Choral Music of Russia and the United States Daniel Abraham, conductor In preparation for a spring 2013 tour performing with orchestras in Russia, the AU Chamber Singers present an exciting and varied fall program with something for everyone. The program will explore various choral art music and folk traditions of Russia and the United States featuring works by Georgy Sviridov, little known in this country but a giant figure of Russian 20th century composition, contemporary American choral music; Russian and Bulgarian traditional song, American folk arrangement; and spirituals.
